SORT AND SCAN
Preserving family photo history, one album at a time.
A volunteer sorts, scans and organizes your family's photo albums, so the pictures outlast the paper.
How it works
Requirements
1. Hand over the albums. We collect them from you, log every album, and give you a receipt for what we've taken.
2. We sort and scan. Photos are digitized at archival quality and organized by the dates and names you help us fill in.
3. You get both back. Your original albums, plus a digital archive you can copy and share with the whole family.
To be involved in this program, you must be located in the Bay Area, around the San Francisco and San Jose area. We can accommodate you as long as there is a volunteer in your area. These are the counties we can service:
